    If we do get promoted, who thinks we should extend Norwood's contact for the Championship season?
    We do have an option for a one year extension on his contact and if he carries on his present form, I think he will have earned a crack at the Championship.

    I think he's earned another season, regardless of what division we are in.

    I think it's a no-brainer if we are still in League 1, but do posters think he would cut it in the Championship.

    It's a yes from me.
    I wasn't sure after those early season games and the sending off, but since Xmas he has played out of his skin, shown a great attitude and shown fitness levels that do himself and the coaching team proud.
    If we go up, he deserves a season in the Champ on merit.

    Keep. Don't want to lose any of the starting 11, regardless of what league we're in (though appreciate we may have to sell a few who are in their last year of contract)

    Agreed. I’d be a bit concerned if he was our main striker but he’s done brilliantly this year and is a great influence on the whole team.

    He has proved his worth in this league. I am not sure at his age he will be such an asset if we do win promotion.

    Perhaps we take up the option and try to get a bit of a fee when he moves on.

    I'd definitely keep him if we went up. Let's be honest we won't have a lot of money to throw about and a guy with loads of experience and a real eye for a goal would be invaluable in the squad. Regardless of the step up some strikers just have an instinct in front of goal. Look at that finish last night. No need to take a touch, just straight across the keeper and in.
    I'm not saying I wouldn't like a couple of strikers more and hopefully better but I'd have to say he's our best striker at the moment and would likely be in our three most potent next season.

    Just a thought - after his performances in L1 this season who`s to say that we will be the most attractive proposition for him next year in L1?
    There may be better payers than us.

    Another vote here to keep him regardless of the division we are in. I’ve said it a couple of times on here now but since the new year he’s been a different animal.
