This is absolutely awful to read. My dad just text about it as I've not been in here, and whatever has happened, hope she makes a full recovery. As far as I am concerned, she is everything we want the club to be. I'm not a religious type by any means, but prayers and thoughts from me and my family are certainly on the way.
Beth is one of the most helpful , hardworking & likeable ladies you could wish to meet , wishing you all the best & a speedy recovery
I once jokingly nominated her for our next manager. Can't speak highly enough of Beth and how brilliant she is when you speak to her at the club. lifeblood of Oakwell and is BFC from head to toe. I can't find words to express my hope that Beth will make a full recovery..C'mon ar Beth...x
I’ve known her face for years but wasn’t certain of her name devastating news for everyone concerned here’s hoping she pulls through and makes a full recovery.
That's awful and shocking news. Wishing you a swift and full recovery Beth and thinking of your family and friends too. You're an unsung hero of BFC x
from West Yorkshire, a legend of our club, players come and go, people like Beth, Rimmo, Spud etc are the club
You’ll struggle to find anyone with anything but nice things to say about Beth. I once posted on here that I’d got stuck on the wet field at the top of the disabled riding centre after a match and she saw it, and dragged her fella out in their 4x4 to find me and tow me off the field. It seems to me she’s the absolute life blood of the club. The football club would struggle to recover from losing someone like her. But more importantly she’s a wife, a mam of three boys and a daughter. Kick on Beth. Get whatever it is beaten. We’re all with you.
Come on, Beth! You have the love, thoughts and prayers of your Oakwell family, willing you through this! ❤️❤️❤️
And let me also add, Whitey, and everyone else who works at the club, my thoughts are with all of you too. I know you’ll all love her to bits and will be in a proper state at the moment.
She's a fantastic woman, a brilliant boss to those of us who work at the club under her, and a very loving mother to my best friend. One of Barnsley's finest.
