I’m not a big golfer, just found it funny. State of this.

Beggars belief really, how summat like this can physically happen. I can only imagine how many endless meetings and approvals this would have had to go through, before work started. Yet no one at any point stepped in and got it scrapped.

Hopefully not involved in Jumble Lane Bridge

The Ariel view looks like a **** and balls apparently, they could afford to returf the worn area every year

The latest statement is that this was a test to look at ways of combatting the wear around the bridge. The bridge will now be restored to it's pre position with new turf being laid to replace the stone circle.

Re-turfing it? Bloody ell, who came up with that revolutionary idea I wonder? I'm guessing Accenture or EY mebbi?

Looks like it was done by DIY SOS. Doesn't even look like reclaimed stone. All a bit a amateur hour.

or even laid remotely flush with the grass. wheel chairs, golf carts, people, literally a trip hazard to anyone using it. someone's already photoshopped it with the millennium falcon.

wonder if anyone suggested artificial grass on the approach :)
There are plenty of other surfaces that could be used that are more in keeping if the grass gets too much wear but the patio approach is just naff
