Is abysmal. I think if we had a prolific striker we would be fighting for top 2. I think duff knows it too and our job is to kill teams off in the first half like we did with Accrington. Its just our strikers cant do the job. I honestly think if we can keep our better players and duff, we will be clear above the rest next season (if we dont go up)but i dont think we will because we are not clinical enough unless shaw has something to say
They have a squad of championship rejects. I think teams geniunley ***** themselves because of it. Oxford battered them. We did. Because we pressed and had a pop at them
Agree that this league is cack. We seem to give too much respect to some of the really **** teams. I suspect given our financial position that if we don't go straight back up then the budget will be revised and possibly reduced again next season which will make Duff's job even tougher. I really like Duff but think we will find it tough to go up through the play offs this season.
Nah. Teams ***** it because they have ex championship players. They have a cheating owner and it will all eventually turn ugly. I despise and respect them at the same time. Decent fans but a cheating club with a good history.
On paper they have a v good team for this league as do Derby and Ipswich. We're punching imo and duffs doing a great job credit to him and the players.
There’s some big teams in this league nowadays so I’m not sure it’s that poor. I know it’s massively hypothetical but if we’d have kept Morris (and kept him fit) I reckon we’d be comfortably in that top 2. We definitely do need to start being more clinical up front. I saw a stat the other day where we are the least clinical team in the division and that doesn’t surprise me one bit. Hopefully Norwood isn’t out for too long and chances can start falling to Watters to see if he can finish them off.
I often see stuff like this and scoff to myself in disbelief. But I genuinely believe it with this one. Morris would have an absolute field day, and he'd certainly score the chances we've missed this season
100%. Obviously we’ll never know but I’d hazard a guess that he’d have got 25+ easily for us with how we’ve been playing this season.
