Mine is Graham Taylor because when I was a kid he once got off the team bus at Oakwell, sat on the steps of the bus and signed every single autograph that people asked for, including mine, with good humour and super politeness. A lovely bloke.

Graham Garden. He’s a Goodie. I once clocked him at Leicester Forest East Services. It must have been in the early 1980s.

Were you there by chance, or specifically to spot Graham/Graeme's?

I did tend to hang about motorway service stations Graham/Graeme spotting back in the day but on this occasion it was purely happenstance.

This post made my hangover a bit better.

To be fair, I'm guessing the 1980's were halcyon days for motorway Graham/Graeme spotting? Nowadays you'd be lucky to get a Kevin, and Derek's are as rare as rocking horse shiit.

You fuuck one kid, and all of a sudden you're 'not suitable to coach the youth team'. Political correctness gone mad.

We should probably have a whole Graeme Garden thread, when I was about 10 I won some short story competition in the Chron and had my photo taken with him as he must have been at the Civic for summat. Around the same time my younger sister won a colouring competition and had a photo in the Chron, sat on John Inman's knee, he must have been doing Panto at the Civic.
Glad I got the Goodie and not Mr Humphries.
