An odd sort of game. Wrapped up in 20 minutes. Plenty of opportunity to increase a lead against a poor team but a vague feeling of disappointment that they couldn’t be taken.

    Another ridiculous pen

Connell had a great game yesterday, always looking for the ball, he has the ability to make space for himself and lay off some fine passes. Norwood a very close second

Aitchison for me. Seemed like there were three of him on the pitch. Run very close by Connell and Norwood. A very solid debut from Bobby Thomas as well.

Wasnt at the game, seen the highlights, read the comments, Grandaughter went [aged 11 ] she told me Williams ran a lot and scored, good enough for me.

Norwood looked a lot better maybe threat of competition from an half fit loanee, glad Cole started where he should be left

I've gone with Norwood. He seemed fired up and I think that transmitted to the team.

Connell for me. Another great game and played his part in a goal by refusing to be bundled off the ball.

Amusing how different the BBS sees things compared to the MOTM at the ground that went to Aitchison.

Some good performances today. I went for Connell, although I can see why Norwood got a lot of votes. Williams did well, Phillips threaded in a few great balls & crosses too after being a bit anonymous recently. Great debut by Thomas, he looks a great addition, giving us height in both boxes. Aitchison warranted his start & great to see him on the scoresheet.

I'll go Norwood as he did most to win us the game in my opinion, slay the poor finishing hangover from last week with a beauty and leading the line superbly. I really enjoyed the debut performance from Thomas yesterday too and mentions in dispatches for Williams and Philips.

And me. He was everywhere, particularly in the first half, a real nuisance.

Having watched some of the game back this morning, I didn't realise how much of an influence Connell had on a couple of the goals, particularly the second one. But I'm sticking by my initial thought and going for Aitchison.

Luca Connell was head and shoulders above everyone else on the pitch. Norwood and Aitchison had their best games I’d say, but not in the same league as Connell in terms of their level. That’s no criticism of those two either, they’re good enough for this league.

Connell will play at a higher level, no doubt.
