Does this dispel the myth that winning manager of the month is a curse?

A draw away at Accrington is hardly sexy football. Gone off the boil :D.

Pretty sure Archey is meaning from when Duff won the award in November going into December.

I get that. But isn't it based on league games only.
We won 2 of only 2 in november. Hardly a brilliant achievement.
Duff admirer btw. Just think the awards are a jinx in general

No just a statistical probability that after a great winning run you are due a defeat and the fact you only tend to notice when the run ends as soon as the awards are announced

Duff won the award in November, and we went on to be undefeated in December. I'm as superstitious as they come, but I honestly don't think the manager of the month award is as much of a jinx as people would have you believe.

Yeah, the league games were limited in November because of the World Cup but he won that award and then carried form over in December.

In general I’d say I’m a superstitious person but not so much with the manager of the month awards.

On this particular jinx . It's a thing that I get the impression other teams pick up on. I prefer to be under the radar so to speak.
    As for superstitions.
For some daft reason I can only go through 2 selective turnstiles in the east lower.
Not that we will always win but the fact that in years gone by. If I went through another we allus lost.
And I also refuse to watch any penalty we recieve. As we invariably missed em when I did watch em pre premier. Maybe I should give the ones a miss that our opponents get lol.
