I remember him in all those late night shows. A brilliant comedy actor. His occasional appearances on shows like ‘Yes Minister’ were a joy to watch. Been listening to him on Audible in ‘Absolute Power’ with Stephen Fry.

Very funny and also very good at highlighting government failings. His pieces with John Fortune were brilliant satire
Not sure what the pair of them would have made of the last 4 or 5 years but wish we had seen it. He will be missed RIP

Very funny man. Loved him on Rory Bremner's shows, and as stated above, Absolute Power. I also remember fondly his One Foot In The Grave episode where he hires Victor as a driver.

One of the last of the 1960s satirists, will be greatly missed.

Just thinking about Absolute Power got me thinking about a three part drama called In The Red. A real worthy watch and some great actors if you ever get the chance.

John and Steven Fry are basically the same people but work as controllers of radio stations at the BBC.

There is politics, drama, murder. Its great.
