She's on camera with lights in her face. She's mis-spoken when she was probably thinking something slightly different. Perfectly understandable unless you have an agenda against her. Maybe she was thinking about that moment in time. Maybe she was thinking about that production company. Who knows. The point she was making stands though. This thread shows there have been dozens of female leads... and by the same token it would be a fool's errand to name male action leads because there are thousands. So many female action leads mentioned here are heavily sexualised because it was thought that was the only way to attract the male attention. Barbarella, Wonder Woman, Lara Croft... I've forgotten the point I was making now because I'm just thinking about boobs.
Yerbut in those days of 'political incorrectness' did she not get spanked at some point in the film over Howard Keel's knee?
Any number of Female leads nowadays on Netflix films. Just watch 'The Handmaid's Tale' if you want to see a strong female role ironically in a story where the women are completely subjugated and considered as possessions. The strongest characters are all women in the series and most of the men total 'tw*ts'
I wonder how Harvey Weinstein persuaded his Weinstein Company co chairman Gary Ross who directed Hunger Games to give Jennifer Lawrence the lead franchise role when she's a blonde white girl and in the books the Katniss Everdeen character is a brunette with olive skin.
Maybe he pointed out that there's this new fangled product called "hair dye." Or are you suggesting without evidence that Jennifer Lawrence, who has won one Oscar and been nominated 4 times, only got the role because she willingly slept with a sexual predator? I assume not, because that would be pretty awful.
Oh you should it’s every bit as bad as you would expect which makes it quite entertaining in that so bad it’s almost good sort of way
