Barnsley to beat Oxford or England to beat France, which would it be ? For me it would be a Barnsley win.

The reason I'd rather us beat Oxford is England could beat France and still ultimately fail against Portugal or Brazil. Whereas Barnsley could go onto better things through beating Oxford.

I’d rather Barnsley beat Oxford than England win the World Cup! Some things matter, some don’t.

If we lose to Oxford the defeat will be all but forgotten if we then beat Burton the week after. If England lose to France, the World Cup is done and dusted for another four years.

If it was a choice between England winning the World Cup and Barnsley going up then it's not even close, but as for Saturday's games in isolation, I'm leaning towards England.

If it were the Final I'd agree. However, there is a chance Barnsley and England could both lose.

By that logic we could beat Oxford this Saturday but then go on to lose every single game and get relegated.

But the “could” is in there. England could beat France and go on to better things by winning every major trophy for the next 10 years.

I think our form this season and ability to bounce back after some poor performances means that 1 game against Oxford won’t be pivotal to our season.

It's the thought of coming out sucking my thumb after a rubbish Saturday. I think there's more chance of beating Oxford than England beating France so I'm edging my bets.
