After a spell of games against sides in the bottom half of the table, we visit fellow play-off chasing side Peterborough United on Friday night. It was 3 wins from 3 in the league in November for us, and 2 defeats from 2 for Peterborough. We were both eliminated from the FA trophy, while Peterborough also suffered defeat to Shrewsbury in the FA Cup, following a replay victory over Salford. At home in the league, Peterborough are unbeaten in 5 games (4 wins), and have only faced defeat once at home in the league all season (vs Fleetwood). Only Plymouth have a better home record than the Posh. In contrast, we're the 4th best away side with 4 wins in our last 6 away league games. At London Road, we've won 6 and drawn 1 of the 10 meetings this century, including 5 straight victories between 2002 and 2011. Each of our 3 defeats have come by a single goal, and only the last 2 of those 10 games haven't seen both teams score. This is going to be a difficult game. Michael Duff certainly has us difficult to break down at the minute. I'm going for a 1-1 draw, with Devante Cole being cancelled out in the second half.
well we dont do score draws so its the usual first goal the winner could go either way so I am going for a tense 0-0
