    Tbf it's not a new ground, we've been pretty cack in the league recently and it's a good 2.5 hour trip each way. We'll have around 1,000 there and that's not bad imo.

    Only 2 other away games leading up to Xmas. Posh is on a Friday night so not many be making that trip and Oxford is an even longer trip than Shrewsbury. On that basis I thought we'd have easily topped 1000.
    We have been cack recently though, I agree with you on that.

    We’ll take around 1k. For an average league one side in average form with the way the world is at minute, that’s not bad.

    Not sure why it upsets folk tbh. Don’t get me wrong I thought we’d take maybe 200 to 300 more. But won’t be losing any sleep over it.

    I remember going to Shrewsbury in 88/89. Midweek game, we won 3-2 i think, and we took about 350.
    What struck me about that day was a line of policemen eating fish and chips at the back of the stand, and there seemed to be a small group of Shrewsbury fans waving us off out of the car park.
