    Despite what I said earlier, Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads was better than the Likely Lads ... and an elderly version would have been great but for one of them to go an die.

    Whatever Happened was better. I have the dvd box set, but it doesn't have the film. A few of the 60s episodes were lost. I think I'll watch that, when I've finished me Dickens epic.. :)

    Apparently they fell out - I can't remember the details but one of them said something in an interview that the other took umbrage too - and never spoke again. This was probably around the early 80s.
