The idea we now have no effective Govt and the whole sorry process of giving the Con party members a vote has to be repeated still without having a remotely viable candidate is farcical.
To add insult to injury we now have complaints from certain MPs that the voting is compromised as (due to the obvious urgency of the situation) the membership vote will be conducted via email and "some members do not have access to it" (presumably being due to the fact they are old and senile or don't understand this new fangled "interweb", and therefore unable to cast their vote!

Nothing surprises me with this corrupt party. They are only interested in self preservation and don’t give a **** about anyone else. It was only 6 months ago that half of those now wanting the buffoon back wanted him gone, they have all realised that they are likely to be off the gravy train at the next election and think he will save them. However, if his name does go forward to the mentally insane conservative members to vote on he is almost guaranteed to get back, failing that, the Russians will have an input in the voting system and get him elected, again! What a shower

Don't worry, I'm sure their international members, with no links to the UK, will manage it though.

Apparently one news organisation managed to register a pet Tortoise as an international member. It will no doubt be shell-shocked having to vote twice so soon. It could, I suppose vote for its favourite if it was on the ballot list i.e. The Daily Star's lettuce:D As pointed out, Union votes have to undergo more security protocols than those needed to elect the country's Prime Minister.
SPAAC (Self preservation at any cost is clearly the Conservative mantra) Thinking about it, the lettuce might not be such a bad option between Johnson, Sunak or Mordaunt.
    'Salad days' would surely follow:)

The Tories would have Putin as leader if they thought it would keep them in power. The fact that the incompetent serial liar and adulterer Johnson is even allowed to run again tells you all you need to know about the Tories morals

Assuming there is a next election. What’s to stop them changing the rules again to allow say 10 years before the next election in the Intests of stability and all that ?

Yep. Not far away now. It's too easy to see Johnson thumping his lectern, and proclaiming "One people! One nation! One leader!"

A lot of people would just lap that up. I prefer it in the original German myself.

Why shouldn’t they want him come back and have another go though?
I mean obviously there’s the still being under investigation thing, the fact he obviously thinks he’s above the law, the serial womaniser thing, his own party having just having chucked him out thing and no world leaders seeming to particularly like him, and being an all round buffoon.
    But still…
