    Sounds about reight. We had no chance of signing Toney though tbf, Brentford ended up paying stupid money for him. He’s been worth it for them though!

    We were confident the deal could be done ahead of Brentford’s interest. Player was interested too. Coaching team said no as they didn’t think he could make the jump to Championship level.

    In October 2019 we had Barry Fry as the main speaker at our cricket dinner, and Daniel Stendel as guest of honour. We asked Barry Fry if Barnsley had made a bid for Toney. He confirmed they had, then almost died laughing.

    Duno that smith was one of the worst ive seen in a red shirt. I know hes done okay at rotherham and swindon but if i was a wendy fan and my club had signed him paying him over 10k a week i wouldnt be too happy.

    I assume your referring to him as a focus looked more like a Blackpool donkey here
