What a fight it promises to be and the winner gets to be mandatory to face Uysk next year. The toughest opponent Joyce will have ever faced. Hard to pick a winner.

Should be a classic. It’s huge for both men too. Can Joyce step up? Can Parker reaffirm his championship credentials?

I really like both men and will be happy whoever has their arm lifted at the end.

I’m going Parker UD. First time I’ve ever gone against Joyce.

Any links knocking around? I like the fight, but not at £20.

Both Paddy Power and Sky Bet offering 2/1 for either fighter to stop the other, but I reckon points. Frank Warren in his Daily Star weekly column today talked up how Parker is unbeaten for four years and only ever lost to Joshua and Whyte. Before adding of course that Parker is better now than when he lost to them.

I've got absolutely no interest in boxing, barbaric sport. I thought this was a thread discussing the relative merits of Joe Joyce and Graham Parker, much more interesting

No idea where Graham came from lol. Derrick of course

I honestly thought this was a thread about who was the best full-back, Joe Joyce or Bob Parker. Different eras but I'd go with Joyce.

Great advert for the sport. Two powerhouses, respectful of each other outside of the ring then go toe to toe and produce a spectacular fight, complete with spectacular finish.
I couldn't pick a winner beforehand but Joyce seems to be bulletproof. Up against a world class fighter, took the world class shots, never you a step back and barely a mark on him. Looked like he could've gone on for another 12.

Rubbish atmosphere for a big UK venue. Joyce schooled a very good heavyweight. Parker got bashed up. I hope he continues to fight in this country as I like him. Joyce vs Usyk could be interesting. Joyce protected his face really well. He's barely a mark on him.

Joe and Derrick? They're not going to fight each other. If they get a bit steamy I'll wade in and stop it, they're my heroes.

Joe Joyce is a machine... His pain threshold is crazy. Great fight! Great K.O! Parker fought well, landed some good shots but Joyce ate them as usual.

He’s some fighter Joyce. People often just talk about his engine & chin but to be fair to him in his two big fights against Dubois & Parker he’s been a lot better defensively.

He’s got that knack of never losing his composure, Just constant educated pressure & never panics even if he takes one flush. Always varying the shots he’s throwing so he’s not putting everything into every shot & risking gassing.

Be interesting to see who he fights for the WBO heavyweight title.

When I opened this thread, I thought it was going to be about Joe Joyce and Derrick Parker. Oops
