    I’m hoping it turns out to be a valuable lesson for the team this season. You have to earn the right to play, and we didn’t. Time will tell.

    I dont think the ref was much worse than Tuesday. Just our performance and result didn't mask it this time. Fouls not given in our favour didnt affect the game like it did yesterday and vice versa. Still, we can basically, at this point, expect a poor refereeing performance every week, we just have to deal with it. No excuse for the players though, and thats probably why, as you suggest, Duff didn't mention it

    Having listened to MD again, he is spot on with that summary and the way forward.
    Win lose or draw I'm convinced we've got the right man for the job.
