Unless we buy some drive forward midfield

Players like Wycombe we are going nowhere fast,the Wycombe midfield lads ,strong and quick to drive forward,think last time we had a player like that was Scowen

 

Agreed. No-one ever seems to want to do it for us. Just sit in their position and pass it sideways, no desire to take the ball and drive forward with it, or bust a gut off the ball to get in the box or make themselves available. Hearts of peas to a man.

 

There have been glimpses with Kitching and Williams setting off on good runs - but they're the backline! To be fair I think Benson and Thomas are capable but don't do it enough.

 

I agree, I think they both, especially Thomas, can do it. We've seen both of them do it very successfully already at times this season. Just need to do it more consistently, but I have faith in Duff that in time they will.

 

Unfortunately boys and girls I think we will have to get use to a lack of incomings before deadline day especially the idea of 4 players coming in that’s just not going to happen.
