    Sheffield United on Saturday is the big one for the first team. You don't really want to be playing four games in three weeks before the season opener.

    Much needed minutes for Williams and Cadden amongst what is essentially the U23s.

    Disappointing that Jamie Searle and Jack Butterfill aren't starting. We could have almost an entire line up of J names.

    I get it, I’m just looking at central midfield and up front and thinking it might be interesting to see how they get on. Thought Norwood might get 20 minutes off the bench though.

    Probably tells us where he's at in his fitness levels currently. Unless he then starts against Sheffield United as it's the first team.

    Good yard stick for the likes of Marsh, Jalo and Ackroyd though

    Like said its probably to be expected i was in 2 minds weather to go but expected more 1st teamers starting.be good to see how fabio jalo gets on someone posted on here the other day saying from what they have seen he is infront of the other fowards who have come through the accademy and on the fringes of the 1st team by some distance.

    Agree, had I known this would’ve been a reserve side I wouldn’t have traveled here tonight.

    On Twitter last night the club teased Norwood possibly being involved just for him and most of the first team not being here.
