    Yes, disappointing; However it is as expected being a local-ish match, often seem to fill the Tuesday slots.

    Unless we reach the third round of the FA Cup. If we do Exeter away will have to be moved to midweek. Respect to any that do that trip in a day.

    Tough start, first 8 games, last seasons position:
    Plymouth 7th
    Cheltenham 15th
    Derby 23rd (Ch)
    Bristol Rovers 3rd (L2)
    Wycombe 6th
    Ipswich 11th
    Sheffield Wednesday 4th
    Portsmouth 10th

    You’d expect Ipswich to be title contenders this season.

    Cheltenham, Derby and Bristol are the easiest, but with Cheltenham knowing Duffs tactics that could be a lot harder (he knows them too mind), Bristol could be tougher, momentum from last years promotion still fresh and Derby depends on what state they are in, we might be playing their academy team.

    I think I'd sacrifice a cup run for it to stay on a Saturday. Make a proper weekend of somewhere most of us have probably never been, for the football anyway.

    Was wondering the same.
    Maybe they have to be included just in case. Probably easier to remove them if it goes belly up than to include them into the list later.

    On TV. Don't think there much of that in l1. maybe around the world cp maybe though could be possible.

    Police. Can't see that been much of a problem this season missing the local games.

    Just remember. Connell. Irish u21 international. If he's playing he will get called up if not for the full team but the u21s. Goalkeeper NZ international. Could get called up. Means we have one more than games could get moved.

    For my dad no time is a good time to set off :rolleyes: What he often finds is in the aftermath it wasn't half as bad as he first feared and the drive was fine. He can be driving to Bristol or Donny airport, it matters not, the anxiety is the same: 'it'll be murder at that time' :D

    A decent enough start. A few of the teams who did okay last season & amongst the favourites this time round will give a decent showing of where we are as a club/team and could highlight the areas that may need additional work.
