I guess we will find out in the summer when/if we sell any players. The change in playing style has relegated us bottom of the league below 2 sides who had points deductions, however if we can flog a few players it will be a much more successful season than finishing in the play offs.
You silly boy. That was just a misunderstanding caused by our CEO barely speaking a word of English, oh apart from everything else he's said where he's been perfectly fluent, and it's just unfortunate that the marketing director in the room didn't notice he'd said it to correct him
Besides the obvious (the ownership) you now how Wolfe and Khaled firmly in your sights, alongside Palmer and Benson. I'd seriously consider taking a step back from criticising individuals every single day, because it cannot be good for your mental health whatsoever. And please understand the gravity and sincerity of what I'm saying, I'm not saying it in jest. It's over the top to read this every day from you, and i can't imagine having this constant barrage of criticism streaming out of me. Just have a think, particularly when it comes to Wolfe. Pretty much every player has shied away this season and allowed the ownership to take all the flak. And Wolfe has been man enough to come out and say, do you know what, we need to take responsibility. And yeh he admitted they'd given up after Huddersfield. At least he's not hiding behind the 'we've been hung out to dry' little-boy-blue narrative. Please don't pick apart every word that comes out of his mouth from here on in, or every poor performance. Give the lad a break. And Khaled while you're at it. And just to say, I like you as a poster generally. I just worry about the scale of vitriol and what it could be doing to you.
Here's my take on what Wolfe said. For his performances earlier in the season I'd give him an 8/10, to down tools and not try gives him 0/10. To come out and apologise takes him to a 3/10, to then go through the motions a few days later puts him back down to a 2/10 at best. They're not the scores I'd give him overall. Just my opinion of him at the moment. A lot of his colleagues are still at 0/10. Not giving a toss and not man enough to admit it. So he's better than them at least. Khaled. The man has lied. Until he can justify that it's the opinion I'll have of him. I'm sorry but that's his fault not mine. Palmer and Benson. Bone idle and taking the piss. No apology for hoping they piss off out of the club. Ownership. Wouldn't piss on them if I were on fire. You're right though, Barnsley FC isn't good for anyone. It's why thousands have ****** the club off. It can't be all of our faults can it. Perhaps it's the fault of those at the club not those in the stands
Take care. I know we will bounce back from this sorry saga. And of course it's not the fans' fault. I don't like this absent ownership at all.
