    I thought their fans were fine. Quiet whilst we remembered those that died. Even clapped our lads team as they paraded their trophy

    Chatted to some o n the way to the game. Seemed totally bemused by the level of policing, as indeed was I. Nice easy work for SYP in the sunshine today. Was nice to see some properly " gentified" too, rather than juat the bowler hats. Seemed fine to me.

    The police overkill was pathetic, 2 Durham constabulary riot vans at the train station. It was Preston at home.



    But oh yes it’s a bank holiday weekend so the overtime will be getting paid

    He's bang on the money though isn't he. It's bloody Preston not Millwall and someone, whether that's syp, the club or the infamous overzealous safety advisory group have gone completely over the top yet again and tried their level best to treat everyone like criminals.

    Interesting to compare the match day experience for an away fan at Oakwell with the one we’ll get at Accrington next season. Maybe, if some of our Officials/Police just spent a few days over there seeing how it can be done?
