https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0c1j4r7 Four minutes of your life you won't get back. I think he knows he won't be here next season.
I do think he’s a better coach than Schopp. But it’s a very low bar, and he wasn’t what was needed at the time. Maybe things might’ve been different had he been in charge from the summer.
I think he's here now because if we got shut he'd get compo, but at the end of the season we have a clause where we can mutually part without paying him off.
Please, please, please get Colin in on a 2 year contract at least now you idiots of club owners or so called owners.
Schopp: Played: 16 Won: 1 Drew: 6 Lost: 9 PPG: 0.56 Goals scored: 10 Goals conceded: 22 GD: -12 Laumann: Played: 3 Won: 1 Drew: 0 Lost: 2 PPG: 1 Goals scored: 3 Goals conceded: 7 GD: -4 Asbahgi Played: 25 Won: 4 Drew: 8 Lost: 13 PPG: 0.8 Goals scored: 22 Goals conceded: 36 GD: -14 I've taken the scores at the end of 90 minutes for all cup games
At least he had some fight in him! Interesting that for a coach that is so defensive, the goal difference is the worst Also, under Schopp I still think Qunia and Bassi would have been the impetus to start winning as they were with Poya.
Zero interest in listening to it. Or anything he has to say. The most uninspiring manager I think I’ve ever heard.
Agreed Helen. Whilst it is a reasonable comparison, without taking into account a couple (at least) players who've improved our season, it is not exactly fair. P.S. I'm currently watching Fulham and Derby, which could decide both their fates.
I think you need to go back and do a proper job. I'd like to see a full analysis that shows which key players were unavailable to each manager due to injuries, plus a weighting to factor in the impact of the additional players brought in in January. Add to that a further weighting to take account of the quality of opposition that each manager faced, i.e. how many top/bottom six sides did each manager contend with. Finally trawl back and see how many points were lost to each manager through clear penalty appeals being waved away by incompetent referees. Then, and only then, can I present the Old Goat Shìt Manager Award for 2021/22. Thanks in advance.
My prediction earlier: "We played well, I was pleased with the preformance, the goal was unfortunate for us, we will learn and move forward in our fight for survival... blah, blah, blah" Didn't listen to it but was I anywhere close?
Take Morris, Quina, Bassi & Mads out of Poya’s team & tell he how well he’d do. He’s terrible. Clinging on to the idea that he’s somehow a half decent coach because he’s got a slightly better points per game percentage than the last manager when he has a far better & fitter squad is nonsense
