I was running a fever last night (spent a very, very confused night!) and have a splitting headache this morning. LFT was negative last night but positive this morning. School still has a policy of self isolation but feeling rough enough that I would have been staying at home anyway. No cough as yet and can still smell and taste, just confusion, sniffles, sore throat and this damn headache. Coincidentally, my mam had Covid too which is weird that after 2 years of avoiding it, we both get it at the same time despite not seeing each other.

Hope you feel better soon. Looks like everyone who has dodged it for 2 years is falling prey to it at the moment.

Absolutely identical to my symptoms when I had it in February. If it means anything, it was all over in 3 days for me. Get well soon!

Get well soon JD. Most people I know who are vaccinated seem to be over it in a few days, so fingers crossed that'll be the case with you. Pretty incredible you've avoided it this long with you working in a school!

Have you both separately seen other family members recently? They could have given it to both of you

Sincerely hope you feel better soon JD.

I'm guessing a multimeter is no use in this situation. :):)

You can measure temperature with a multimeter, with the right attachment...

Still testing positive after 11 days still feeling dog rough and that's with 3 jabs so much for Omicron being milder. Wife caught it at work and has given it the me and the two kids bless her. I knew I should have made her live in the shed when she started feeling rough:D:D:D.

I just had it in my sinuses for about a week, tested negative for a few days when I thought I had it, then tested positive for 12 days but latterly with no symptoms at all.

My other half started with a really severe headache. She said it was like her skull was being crushed (and she's not one for hyperbole at all).

Loads of people seem to have it now who never had it before, but that was always going to be the case upon the complete removal of every safeguard.

Sorry to hear you're not well @JamDrop and @stairfoot.red - get well soon.

I've tested negative this morning for the first time in a few days. My wife and I and my two brothers and their wives were due to fly out to Krakow for a few days last Friday but my pre-flight test came back positive so obviously I didn't travel. I had a few sniffles last week but otherwise no symptoms to speak of and until I the positive test didn't even consider I might have it. I'm triple jabbed and had it in September so this is my second dose inside 6 months.
