Apologies for another shameless plug - I'll keep them to the charitable work of the club, that benefits the local community. :)
For anyone who might be interested. PM if you want further details.

My son would probably enjoy something like this, he can suffer with chronic anxiety at times, unfortunately his college hours would get in the way.

Hope it's a success though, definitely a worthwhile endeavour.

only kidding seeing how smart it looked afterwards and knowing they had done that probably helped loads, just being involved if your isolated and lonely will be a god send

Fantastic work. I'm up in Leeds, although I'm down in tarn a couple of days a week to look after my Dad since my Mum has passed.

I suffer from severe depression at times & this is a better approach than a load of pills, although I know people that have benefitted from them. I spoke to someone only on Saturday who is a fellow DJ & is on Citalopram & has kept him stable for over a decade. It didn't work that well for me. Exercise, dogs, the woods & talking honestly work better for me & this seems a similar avenue.

My biggest issue with Cilatopram was that due to having had a whole in my heart it threw my heartbeat out of sync & caused worse panic attacks than I'd been having already.

Keep up the good work basically. Not everything is solved by a box of pills.

Thank you. I won’t ever pretend to be an expert in mental health.
But i can help with activities and other distractions. Funding in this project restricts us age wise but will look to expand to cover more people

Citalopram coincided with my weight gain. I don't know whether it's all down to the drug but I've exercised and eaten healthily but never shifted the weight gained while I was on the drug. I managed to plateau for a bit but never lose any.

I'm currently on venlafaxine (37.5mg x 2 a day) and is the only medication in 5 years of trying that works for me. Everyone is different so what might wirk fir one guy may nit work for someone else. I am also down to start some one on one talking counselling.

My biggest problem with Citalopram was when I was misprescribed and I took double the maximum recommended dose accidentally for a week. Tesco pharmacy put the right sticker on the wrong drug box. I thought I was taking some antibiotics and the sticker had the right antibiotic name but they'd stuck it on a box of citalopram by mistake. Knocked me for six. Didn't know what the hell was happening.
