Not something I've seen mentioned on here. Just wonder if he was available to any media or the Supporter's trust.....
But couldn't make a meeting with supporters that was due to end just over 15 hours before kick off... The mans contempt for supporters has no limits
There is nothing good about that man at all. Conway. If you're reading this how much money do you want to sell YOUR shares in Barnsley FC? Not chien's, not james', not Grace's. YOURS. How much Paul? Name your price and **** off
Thing is once people pack in going regular its hard to get them back... i dont think ill be parting with my hard earned cash while conman and his mates are still in charge. Do some away days instead.
I hope people don't give up Season tickets but we all need to pressure the club to deliver what they said they would.
When the meeting with the CEO is re arranged can someone ask him why when he had to pull out due to illness Conman couldn't take his place instead with him being in the area ready for Bramall Lane?
In no way sticking up for the bloke, but it's feasible he might only have flown in late the night before or even the morning of the match. I'm assuming his diary is fairly well planned, probably months in advance. Even though he looks like a tramp that found a suit in a bin.
The match was rescheduled. If he was in the town on Saturday he could have met fans on Saturday. It's as simple as that.
In this day and age, it's not difficult to find 30 minutes to do a zoom/teams call, even if you're the other side of the world. The only way you don't find half an hour in your schedule is because you don't want to.
This might be down to me feeling ill today and struggling to get my head in gear, but I don't really understand what you're saying here.
Paul Conway was in South Yorkshire on Saturday. Paul Conway could have met with supporters or the supporters trust on Saturday if he was unable to meet with them on Friday. If, as you say, his tickets were bought months ago then Paul Conway's company scheduling a meeting for Friday knowing it was just before he touched down is inexcusable. theres no law saying it had to be Friday.
Yeah, I got that bit, I just didn't really understand the bit about his company setting the date for it.
He's the owner (or one of the owners) of Barnsley FC. In fact he's co-chairman of the company. If said company organises a meeting with supporters who for months have been begging to meet with fatso then that is down to him.
