Don't think we played well at any point tonight

But we competed well and were no worse than the opposition. And we scored an amazing goal. Good enough to win any game.

Then our manager saw his own a*se, terrified himself and conspired to make sure we drew the game. He is worse than useless. He is an advantage to every opposition side we ever play.

Bassi played his heart out tonight. But he wasn't spent. He would have given another 5 hours at that intensity because that's the bloke he is. Wasn't his best game but he gave all he'd got and would have continued to give all he's got and all he's got was worth being on that pitch. He was withdrawn for Cole. I'm not going to have a go at Cole other than to say he's not Bassi. I'm not Bassi either, not even close. But I can recognise what Bassi is and what Cole is and if I was in charge of substitutions Bassi would have remained on the pitch and we would have won 1-0.

Flicker had to pick the players up after the great escape games don’t think Poya will have that problem although maybe Carlton could’ve done with an hand .

Did you go mate or just see a stream? Not asking for any reason other than Bassi twice giving up chasing back just before coming off because his legs had gone in a sprint. Dropping Morris back for some physicality and hoping to use Cole’s height and speed wasn’t an insane decision, and it was the individual error (or multiple thereof) that forced the equaliser rather than anything in terms of shape, IMHO only of course.

I went and I didnt notice Bassi giving up twice. Was he quite a way off the ball or was I just distracted? I get distracted a lot in fairness

They broke and his sprinting was leaving him way off. Wasn’t a lack of trying or effort, just didn’t have the pace/energy.
