Its another dreadful interview. I'm getting to the stage where I feel for the journalists to be fair. They receive a mixture of truculent, evasive, passionless drivel, regardless of what they ask. We've had some soulless coaches/managers. We've had some clueless ones. We've had some deluded ones. I'm not sure we've had one with all 3 traits right from the start of their tenure.
Totally disagree.. what a waste of a decent forward.. and probably our best and only realistic chance of ever actually scoring... playing him out wide. Its not his fault when playing as a 9 that he's to battle against sometime 3 CB's on his own. With the nearest support being semi-skillful, physically weak players that at best do their headless chickens impersonations. If Poya ever had the brainwave.. or even the brain to play 2... yes i know unthinkable.. but two strikers up top together ether with Victor or Cole we just may get even more out of Morris.
Of course we miss Cauley he is a quality striker at this level but if you read what the experts on here say he is not worth a shirt , laughable really , I hope he will give us another season next year because I think him & Morris will be as good as any pairing in division one
I'd love to see a Stendel interview again. Not much in the way of Queens English, but passion aplenty And he handed the tinnies out. Bet Doug and Leon will kill for an interview like that again
Come on. Be honest. Someone told him what to say in direct response to the criticism against him didn't they. Lying through his teeth to pretend we tried to win.
I've stopped listening. I normally watch all the midweek games on iPlayer or Sky, but going out to a gig down the road from me that cost the same price. I'm sure that will be entertaining. Poya ain't an entertainment guy. He probably listens to Lou Reed's "Metal Machine Music" for a wind down , or some Barry Manilow B sides.
We absolutely miss him when he's giving it his all. For whatever reason that wasn't the case this year though. I do wonder how long he had secretly been carrying his injury
I actually think he gives his all every match & what you say about him carrying an injury could be on the money , but some of the stick he got off social media & forums was way over the top.
You do realise he’s played most of his career as a wide forward and playing there is why we rate him so highly? Just a thought. His best moment on Saturday was when he pulled wide left and ran at their defence. Same at Huddersfield.
Cole is the only natural looking (goal hungry)striker that we've got and he should be given a decent run of games to prove his worth or what was the point in signing him? We might as well have kept Schmidt for the season to warm the bench.
I remember Schoops I terviews where he looked visibly embarrassed when answering press question especially when being asked about Oulare (who I hear you ask)Iseka, team selection etc but Ashbaghi.... never heard a load of total tosh! This guy is digging his own grave on his career if he thinks he is demonstrating his knowledge of tactics, team management and game management in his press interviews. His answers and reasoning is unconvincing and monotoned rubbish.
I hope the only summer window he's looking at is from his conservatory while he's falsifying another CV whilst looking for another job.
