Helik should have done a Pearson and threw himself on floor when Coventry player had his arms round him during build up to goal
I have defended Jasper Moon, quite heavily, in the ‘Jasper Moon’ thread, and I stand by all I said. But…erm….that was a howler, for their goal.
In that highlights vid... there is only one Barnsley attack... Helik's header. Cov were quite toothless too. Face it. All year, the losses and draws, we've hardly ever been robbed.
Helik's header looked to head somewhere in the direction of the corner flag 'n all. They say it's the hope that kills you. After last week's improved display this was just gash.
It was but then so was the mistake by sir helik earlier on. The only difference being they missed that time.
Interesting from watching both the You Tube and Sky longer highlights. If Helik had scored with his fifty pence header I think the ref would have blown for a foul on Waghorn. Helik should also have done better to block the O'Hare and Gyokeres efforts. Moon kicking thin air is hopefully the last we see of him. We needed to try and win the game yet bring him on. We missed Bassi that's for sure. Robins was very generous with his praise for us. I didn't see us fighting for our lives like he said we are.
Robins will have talked up our performance to excuse their own. If he'd said we were gash, he'd have to explain why it took them until the 93rd minute to score.
Exactly my thoughts. I thought i was watching rugby for a second, i had to rewind it. We can wax lyrical about "playing the ref" or "playing cute", but we're just a team full of Sixth Formers without any idea of the absolute basics. Its actually embarrassing for a club in the Championship. Its literally amateur level
