One swallow does not make a summer. Although he did well today. And the wingers couldn't get past him. Nevertheless he often demonstrates that his legs move faster than his brain. Against Barrow there were numerous examples. So be prepared for future disappointment, from time to time. There is promise there however.
I get what you’re saying but it’s not really “one” time as he’s been impressive on a number of occasions now. Certainly showing more than to be totally excluded from everything before.
The same is said about Hondermark too. And let's face it, the midfield bar set by Benson and Palmer is just about at ground level. Benson was shockingly bad today. He must be in a bad place, confidence wise, cos it seemed like he messed up everything he touched for a good twenty minutes. We need consistently decent performances from enough of them on any given day. Which has not been the case, sadly.
Bonkers we've had him all season but for most of it kept playing people out of position in his position. The way he did Adomah near the end was brilliant.
I have a theory about Vita. We apparently have him on loan with a view to a permanent deal. I wonder whether the deal in place is an obligation to buy him if he plays a certain amount of games. It's the only explanation I have for him not playing the first 25 or so games.
