Not sure there’s much that can be done with team selection to prepare for league 1, but I hope the club are doing plenty to prepare.

They should at least be figuring out the budgets and what prices they’ll be willing to accept for Helik, Styles and Woodrow, whilst figuring out whether we can keep hold of Morris. Then they have to figure out what to do with Schmidt, Thomas, Oulare and Aitchison.

62% possession means nothing if all the possession is between the defenders passing the ball to each other
Opposition managers will let them do that all the game knowing that they are not trying to move forward and hurt them
One shot on target in two games tells you all you need to know about how good we are playing

We played some excellent football at times under Val but we played it mainly in the final third of the pitch where it actually counts , I agree we were no nonsense at the back but we played it long to the channels & then the football kicked in , if you watched the Bournemouth away game we played them off the park & there were many more examples .

Fulĺy respect your opinion but dont agree at all, i enjoyed the Val season, it was exciting and good to cheer and win games but the football was minimal.

    Well said.
The 2 playoff games were especially dire & way short on entertainment compared to last Wednesday (great atmosphere around the stadium, amongst those not obsessed with bad mouthing Poya).
There are many fans who see the positive signs, but will never post on here cos of the reaction you're getting & that means we're not getting a true representation from the fanbase. Many like me share your view.

Figure out who will be going rather than going to league 1… then recruiting accordingly.

    Hi Helen.
North of East stand, so us getting a full 45mins of Quina was influential.
Highlight was the bums off seats passage of play, with his precision pass to find Jordan Williams who delivered the first time volleyed pass across the box that was begging to be prodded in :)
Both Quina and Bassi move the ball around quickly, pass n move in the groove, so the likes of Palmer can feed off that.
Bassi also really deceptive with his strength on the ball and doesn't get shrugged off easily, so Benson can benefit from that.
Early days, so not getting carried away but definitely cause for optimism.
Really don't buy into this negative stats stuff (1 win in 9 etc) as that's losers' mentality. It's a game at a time, not forgetting our great escape from being 7 points adrift with 9 games remaining.
I know I'll get some ribbing for my views, but at least I'm an infrequent poster :D Just thought I'd answer your question out of respect, but won't be following up and just looking forward to tomorrow night.

Thanks for the reply @MullerRed . I agree Quina made a good debut, hopefully see more of him and Bassi tonight.

Bournemouth & Brentford away last season we’re outstanding. Right up there with any performances we’ve put in considering the quality of the opponents.
