Another incident on Saturday - our fans taking TV's off the wall at Huddersfield... what goes through people's heads. Hope they pass the bill onto us ...
I don't. Not under any circumstances. Paul Conway, Chien Lee, Khaled El-Ahmad, Poya Asbaghi, Mads Andersen, Whitey, Beth and a number of others are the face of our football club. To a man and woman they are vocal and unequivocal that such behaviour is entirely unacceptable. The club they own or are employed by is not responsible for this kind of behaviour. I hope Huddersfield identify the people who did it and the bill is passed on to them. I have no doubt at all that should Huddersfield require help in that identification, those named above would happily and readily assist. No one at Barnsley FC is to blame for this kind of thing in any way and the club should not receive the bill, the people doing it should, and receive bans from Oakwell to boot.
Fair enough just so long as Huddersfield don't have to pay for the damage. Think we paid for Man Utd fans wrecking the away toilets. We aren't responsible but how many times have we been held responsible for our fans behaviour - Bambo chants? Nowhere did I say they condone the violence - similar incident happened at Accrington and Chairman passed the bill onto the club.
I don't think it makes much difference to your post does it? It's still our fans claiming to represent our club and town.
Was on the train on the way back to Barnsley, seemed some of our ‘fans’ found it hilarious to keep pulling the emergency cord. Was freezing and wet, just wanted to be home but the journey was delayed by some idiots.
It was at a pub in the town center one of the staff commented on the video saying staff were scared, teles were ripped down and smashed, a window smashed, light fittings pulled off the walls and the pub had to shut for 3 hours. Thats someones business no need at all im just waiting for the its boris fault comments or some excuse.
