3rd goal of the season all from open play well done took it well. Top scorer will be intresting this season.
Get up goals per minute of our other "forwards" this season and his is probably top out of Woodrow, morris, cole, iseka, odour.
Man of the match for me today, despite the goal. On the other hand Styles was poor today, fluffed chances, terrible delivery for one free kick, just not on it at all but then he aint alone.
He's not good enough mate.. realistically it shows just how bad we are that he gets any where near the starting 11.. Woodrow, tries to be all things to all men. Morris may aswell not be here playin wide left. Iseka may come ok in L1, or may not. Odour, along with Palmer and Victor, being OoC this year, hopefully will be given a peddler this summer.
Maybe not for championship but were league one next season and who knows after that. Woodrow will score in league one, morris is wasted today out wide i agree, cole could do ok in league on so could iseka, odour isnt a forward.
Styles has been like that for a while. I'm not shocked to hear he's been ***** again today and he's not alone!
Victor and Morris were the only ones outside of central defence who could out-muscle and shrug off the shirt pulling of the Birmingham players. A deserved man of the match for me.
I think Victor is on the whole, a much better player than he was when he first came into the team last season. He’s still capable of having a stinker, and his touch does still let him down (though not as much as it did). I’m not sure he’s had as much of a run in the team as others, including odour (I think he was left out after scoring his other two). And assuming Woodrow and Morris leave in the summer, and Vic doesn’t extend, we could easily find ourselves wishing he was still here.
He's never going to be a 10+ goals a season forward at this level, but he grafts and holds the ball up OK - his few goals should be complementing the goals of our other forward/wide/attacking mid players. Unfortunately only Morris has scored anywhere near the requisite amount. Our midfield are particularly to blame here, they've contributed next to nothing in goals or assists this season.
