We have exactly 14 players available Lets hope no one geta Injured or Tests positive today or tomorrow
Fixed that for you. Edit: just to clarify, I don't really want anyone to contract covid or get injured.
Surely the positive cases we had will either be testing negative or otherwise over the 10 day isolation period by Saturday? Unless they've all been coughing on eachother.
I wonder what our longest unbeaten streak (in terms of days) is at the beginning of a calendar year. Just looked a few up - 2021 it was 18 days, in 2019 it was 4 and in 1997 it was 10. It would be some pub quiz question if we beat both that record and some sort of lowest points tally in the same season.
You can be negative & completed your isolation after contracting covid but it does not mean that you are fit to play, some take weeks to be over it whilst others suffer with long covid & whilst I am not suggesting that every player who caught it are still ill, but by the same token some may not be over it enough to actually play yet .
Yes, a -ve test on the 6th day is a get-out-of-isolation card. So the ones that were COVID +ve for the game last Wednesday should be ok by now I'd have thought.
Wouldn't be a bad thing if it got called off as we've been shocking at strengthening the squad in this window.
