    Back in the 1950s played in the cup at Huddersfield. I was behind the Huddersfield goal when Jimmy Baxter broke away, lobbed Hesford, the Huddersfield goalkeeper, and we won 4-3. What a game , Norman Rimmington in the goal for the Reds.

    This is going to sound a bit stupid, but whenever I've seen footage of games from that era there doesn't seem to be much glee when a goal goes in - just a polite waving of flags and rattles. Did people go mad jumping up and down back then or was it as it appears in archive footage?

    Didn't we do the double over them last season? Didn't our piss poor side of this season get a draw against them not that long ago? Flipping heck we aren't playing Man City. Their fans will think they can win too which makes for a decent tie.

    Sometimes, as pundits often say (perhaps erroneously) it is often easier to play against 11 than against 10. I have been the Reds struggle against 10 men and I have seen them raise there game when down to 10 men. However, I do take your point with our current squad.
