Well done. It's been a pleasure watching him play during our promotion season. Wish him well. Hard work and effort will serve him well in League 1.
Wish him all the best - except when they play us next season Wonder if we got any money for him - undiscosed fee could easily be very little I expect as we would want his wages off our books No mention of retaining an interest either
I'm guessing the fee probably covered any payment due to the player for offloading him. Still think we could see him as somebody that would've been useful for us next season, particularly if we are playing a back 4, rather than wing backs.
Given how eager we've always been to state we've retained interest or got a fee of some form, I'd assume the main exercise is to get rid of a wage so a fee has been waived or some of his contract has been paid up to let him go. Our squad is ridiculously bloated still, and not sure left back would be where I cut, but still understandable in the circumstances. Pity he's going though, I think he could have done well for us next season. Good luck Ben.
https://www.ctfc.com/news/2022/january/first-january-signing-confirmed/ Good luck Ben. He will be popular there because he gets stuck in and gives his all. Still don't see the point of undisclosed fees when media outlets will soon be telling us anyway.
Good luck to him. Never gave anything less than 100% in a Reds shirt, which is as much as we can ask of anyone. He'll benefit from playing in his natural position at left back too, rather than being exposed as a wing back at Championship level.
+1 for the good luck and best wishes, Ben Always gave everything, never shirked a challenge. Be some sore legs and wall bottoms being repaired again soon
Agreed mate. Admittedly wasn't the most talented, but always tried hard and never let us down. Also came back after a year out with a major injury Good luck at your new club Ben
