Undoubtedly brilliant, but it really did suffer from the final two series being rushed and condensed into such a small number if episodes. The storyline had always diverged a bit from the books (e.g. some characters dying in one, but not the other) so I'm hoping he gets round to actually finishing them off. However, it feels increasingly unlikely that this will be the case.
given up on the books. Unless he surprises us all and brings the last two out at same time. I very much doubt he will finish them
I agree and can't help thinking that the tv show did no favours to the book release schedule. Not that he's the fastest writer on the block, but how much potential writing time was lost while he was messing around with scripts, etc...?
