Of course they shouldn’t be banned. They are dated and most of them aren’t so funny anymore but Carry on up the Khyber is still a total classic and of course carry on camping still has some appeal
Same here. I loved Enid Blyton books as a kid, even argued with the library to stick them but when you read them as an adult they are rubbish= sexist, racist and anti working class. No need to ban them but I doubt many viewers who are new to Carry On films will find them hilarious.
Those were the best two. Not watched them in donkeys, but there would be some chuckles. Not so much the jokes per se, but some great comedic actors. Very much of the time. I'm definitely a PC type, but I don't believe in banning stuff from the past. There could be some warning on them saying this was recorded in 1968 & has content that would not be considered acceptable if released now & could have a parental guidance warning maybe. If we took the censorship approach Dickens, Shakespeare & loads of literature would be banned.
Good set of answers ,always loved carry on films years ago but now we have VAR they should really be banned
Carry on Sergeant the first one, good storyline funny in its time. Spent more time watching Gold and the old comedies this Christmas than owt else, what ever floats yer boat watch it, if not dont is my answer to this thread.
