Again, there's nothing we can do if someone opens their trap 12 hours before the agreement is signed, and then announced by both clubs.
Our midfield cannot compete at championship standard so what do we do...... put our own midfield player who might remedy our midfield problems out on loan until the end of the season........ It defies all common sense and logic. The sooner this board leaves the club the sooner we will get up off our knees and start to make progress. And they can take the CEO with them.
I can guess who’s coming in during January. A couple of u21s from Sweden recommended by Asbaghi. They’ll cost nigh on nothing so fit the bill.
I wonder what Herbie thinks about this? Is he glad to be out of the way or disappointed he's not back and playing in the championship?
I dont understand this decision by our board and i strongly believe it is the wrong decision. It does back up the point that i dont agree with that Kanes resale value is greater playing on loan at Oxford than struggling in our side at the bottom of the championship. I would like this decision explaining.
The bits that Herbie had to sign probably were, but as Oxford state on their website, it was all agreed and signed this lunchtime.
He'll be back playing in the Championship with Oxford next season. Our owners prob think if he helps them up it's one less strong team for us to worry about when we are in that league next season, but I'm probably crediting them with far too much strategic thought there. It's down to a bit of £ and nowt else.
That just makes the decision worse then because given more evidence that Benson and Gomes aren't up to the job last night the club still allowed it to happen, its utter maddness
