Gone on the NHS website and gone through the steps. Got a nice QR code to prove my medical records and added it to Google pay on my phone 'valid until 12 December at 9:05pm' So it's only valid for two days then I have to download a new one? I suppose in the next 48 hours the fact I've had two vaccinations could always change.
Should have a month on it mate, try again or by the website. It's probably gone tits up due to millions of people trying at the same time.
I've given up and sent for a paper version. If it doesn't come in time, I'll stay at home. Fůck it, I'm past caring.
And what do you think it is then? By the way the entire steps I completed were visiting https://covid-status.service.nhsx.nhs.uk/ logging in. Pressing 'add to Google pay'.
How come you can use the word ‘********’ but I can’t get away with a plain and simple ‘****’ or ‘****’ without getting bleeped out?
I'm currently working with a university, we're in the research stage, and it's... 'protracted and slow'... to quote Joanna Newsome. But it's the speed of light compared to other papers I've been involved with when academia is involved. We will put forward a thesis prior to when the counsel sits in March, we will get the £300,000 funding, and it will dramatically change government policy. If the sell-by-date was just a month in advance on the polymers you study, how much would you ever get done? Would you even bother? "You better get this done by the 9th of Jan Plankton or you're starting all over again."
I went to Valencia. To get it working I stuck my fingers up my bum and whistled through my Barcelona.
If you do the further steps to prove your identity it then lasts a month and resets every time you log in. you can also do other stuff like look at some medical history and order repeat prescriptions etc unless it’s changed from last year when I initially set it up, you can’t view your covid jab dates unless you do the full ID thing. Which I had to show recently when returning from benidorm
I appreciate that I’d already set up my NHS app years ago as it makes my life easier. But I’ve just logged into the app, downloaded my covid passport to my apple wallet, and ordered my repeat prescriptions and it took less than a minute all in.
Yeah I'd bother mate. I'd plan my experiments such that we had enough in-date material to do each part of the study. The first stage of the work flow would be procurement. Second would be QC to check it's consistent. But the point (I think) you're making about a month being arbitrary is spot on. I was merely saying that when I followed the same procedure as ST my pass indicated it was valid for 1 month.
Agree. It’s actually a good app for repeat prescriptions and the Covid passport is very simple to do on it. Under advertised pre-Covid I’d say.
