The most woeful performance in a long time, abject, disorganised tripe.

At least our new manager now knows what his future is

Get a grip Squad, this just won't do :oops::oops::oops::oops::oops:

Even though the sound of it is something quite atrocious.

He should have told the front three to press and get much closer to defenders, to put them under pressure.

Their back three were allowed to pass it through us almost unchallenged.

If put under pressure, defenders passing is far less accurate, and you have a greater chance of gaining possession.

For all the faults tonight that’s not one of them.
We frustrated them as far as their attack was concerned their defence could have had a night off though .

Well if you only have 20% possession it severely limits your opportunity to score.

The danger was there with our approach to letting them play, as they almost got through on 44 minutes.

The way we played tonight. It's all the more disheartening because they did what they were asked to do and just weren't good enough to execute it. It makes that effort that you've expended wasted effort. It hurts more because to employ that game plan you have to go against your natural instinct to get forward. It feels like a waste tonight. It will for the players tonight too. I'd rather have lost 0-4 having a go tonight.

We limited them to few clear chances unfortunately once ones scored it’s inevitable that a second one comes as we decide to go all unprofessional .
Had we any sort of threat and threatened their goal that game wouldn’t have gone as it did , their defence could have had the day off the confidence of having so much possession and knowing we couldn’t hit a barn door with a banjo . Up to the first goal we’d limited a good attacking side and if we’d held out we could have built on that , but your initial post of them passing through our press at will is wrong .
