"not guilty was the correct call" but look I know how you twist posts around and if you think he should have got away with murder for whatever reason you come up with the fact is he shot 3 men as he said himself I went there to help the police,(with a semi-automatic rifle) A full-blown idiot and must have gone with intentions to kill or maim, by the way, he shot these 3men because they were demonstrating against police brutality after an unarmed man was shot 27 times in the back by, yes you quest it the Police, He knew full well these demonstrators were black. And there you have Republican Cawthorne condoning his actions
I don’t twist anything. I’m just happy to point out any lack of consistency or inaccuracies in what people claim I’ve said. I’m sure you’d do the same? You just said I’ve been defending him. Your evidence to support that is ‘not guilty was the right call’. It was the right call, based on the laws and what took place that night. Doesn’t make it a positive outcome, or an incident to look at fondly. It’s absolutely mental that the situation even happened and the trial was what it was. Again you’re making claims about what happened and either not backing it up with facts or providing half of the story because you’ve got your own opinion on what the verdict should have been. The protest was one of many where businesses and schools had been forced to be boarded up. None of the men killed were black. One of them travelled twice as for as he did. One was a convicted child molester and one had numerous convictions including strangling/choking his brother. But to be honest, all that is irrelevant. He was allowed to carry the weapon by law. He only used it in self defence. Things might have happened in between him arriving but the truth is he’d be dead now himself right? Would you then be as aggressive towards the other man with the gun ready to pull the trigger?
In this area of its society I can't disagree. America does a lot of things well but like everyone it has a lot of problems.
Christ I've just seen the smug little ******* on the news now. Where's my tank. I'm right behind Nutkins nar.
It's hard to imagine a more dangerously misinformed take on the facts, which I assume is the kind of cut and paste from the likes of the Guardian/Independent/Mirror that only a moron would believe. Hats off to you Loko for having the patience to engage with posters like this.
It was a pretty wild attempt at a description of what happened. Probably one that was reported as fact before the trial and has been debunked once the facts came out. This whole thread shows the danger of social media/internet over the last decade. People admitting they know nothing about it but forming an opinion or being outraged at a verdict, probably based on whichever one liner they’ve seen from whichever source/platform they saw it from. At least there’s one thing we virtually all agree on. It’s nuts where and when you can carry a gun in the US. But that’s their culture, history, whatever you want to call it, and they’re view on the government/amendments which is very different to us over here.
Indeed, had the police and security services done their jobs, and stomped on the vermin (democrat voter base) who were rioting, looting, and burning shops, streets, and neighbourhoods to the ground (not that most on here would have seen this reported in their chosen media sources), Rittenhouse probably wouldn't even have been there. However that would have required the (democrat) Governor to do his job and stand up for law and order, however as he'd calculated (and probably been instructed) that the 'optics' could damage Trump in the run up to the election, he was instead happy to allow all hell to break loose. Let us hope that Rittenhouse now sues the vile media outlets, who deliberately tried and convicted him in public, into the Stone Age, and perhaps also the Wisconsin Governor, plus the drooling grifter who currently inhabits the White House, who even now is attempting to paint a target on the poor kid's head with his idiotic proclamations.
Damaging property does not equal taking someone's life. And maybe if the police weren't so trigger happy there wouldn't have been the protests in the first place.
That wasn't the point I was making, as you well know. When you have rampaging crowds creating mayhem and destroying businesses and neighbourhoods, you stomp on it and restore order as swiftly and decisively as you can, otherwise these kinds of incidents start to occur. Oh and in the case of Jacob Blake, whose situation allegedly prompted these protests, much of which seemingly involved the local scum helping themselves to new trainers and TVs (it's what Jacob, and indeed Saint George, would have wanted), his shooting was entirely reasonable and appropriate, as I believe the subsequent investigations confirmed.
You have evidence to back this up of course. Trump is the root cause of all this. Charlottetown: “There was good and bad on both sides” Proud boys: “Stand back and stand by” He’s a disgusting racial bigot and easily the worst potus in modern history.
I've read some bullshyte in my time but this takes the biscuit, like it says at the bottom of all your posts "I am a child"
Man shoots and kills people. Actually kills them. By shooting them. And you're having a go at the media. Before you react to this in your usual way, say out loud what happened and actually have a think about what you're saying.
Except it is in self defense. Stupid laws in America but based on those laws the right decision was made. Especially considering the sheer incompetence of the prosecution
I’m a bit puzzled here . Arrogant little **** openly walking round with an assault weapon he had bought illegaly, How did it go so wrong?
