China are never held accountable for anything they ever do. The rest of the world is scared of upsetting them too much and rely too heavily on them for things. It's good the WTA are threatening to remove all tournaments from China. They had nine of them in 2019 so if they stick to their word (if it cannot be proven she's OK) then they will lose a lot of money but gain a lot of respect.
The "email" she 'sent' is laughable... the one where she allegedly states she's hunky dory! I know it shouldn't, but from my brief knowledge of all things China, i find it amusing that the great old U S of A steer clear of a number of issues with them
USA threatening to boycott the Winter Olympics also, it’s about time the world stood up to China’s abuses.
Nobody has the ballax to stand up to China. It's been coming for years. Slightly more diplomatic version of North Korea/russia

The WTA has to be applauded for their unwavering response to this. Many clubs and sports have shied away from tackling China. Arsenal did over Ozil’s comments etc. A lot of money comes out of China for sports, especially women’s tennis. Fair ply to the WTA and let’s hope this situation is resolved quickly and safely.
