Can there be any failure as utterly complete as being a Tory MP for nine years and ending up with zero cash in the bank, no job and no mates to help you out. He's not only a despicable human being, he's also $hit at it. Easiest gig in the world and he managed to mess it up.
May he rot in a hell of his own making. The Tories are showing what they are made of. Anyone surprised? I'm not. Maybe others thought ripping us of for their gain was good. Most of the press was in favour. Maybe now anyone with a brain can see your pants have been pulled down. In other news Barnsley have a new coach.
LOL You beat me to it. The first thing I did when I read the article last night was to check his voting record. I'd bookmarked it to post on here as I was too tired. Sometimes the universe aligns for these ***** just nicely.
I don’t think we should worry too much about that little *******. He’ll a have a lump stashed away somewhere, absolutely no doubt!
To me, it's the sense of entitlement they exhibit that is breathtaking. Paterson still doesn't think he did anything wrong.
Quick read up on this: He has enough equity in his house so is hardly destitute His now ex Wife who replaced him as MP for Dover, believes he never had a fair trial She lent him £100k for his legal fees, so sure he could get an extra £35k if needed. Apparently he was suspended upon allegations revealed, restored to vote for May’s vote of confidence and then suspended again once prosecution was confirmed. 34 people gave him glowing character references including various serving MP’s , the court however has not allowed the names be revealed of these people.
Fingers crossed for Wakefields Tory MP, currently suspended from the whip pending criminal trial for sexual assault of a minor. I mean fingers crossed he gets found guilty of course.
Personally I think fingers crossed that the correct verdict is found. I totally get what you mean but I can't hope he's found guilty when I've got no idea if he did what he's accused of
Let's not forget the tory MP stabbed to death this year; being an MP is not the easiest gig in the world regardless of political affiliation, far from it. Disclaimer: I don't vote Tory. I don't like the Tory party. Does anyone on this board?
