I agree with you SFO. There could be valid reasons for him having turned us down if, indeed, he did. In another universe, had Pep turned us down for whatever reason(wife having a baby) I'd be more than happy to reconsider him second time around. If perchance it is this guy then I also think it would be considered reasonable to give him a chance rather than condemning him out of hand before he's even got here.
Goes without saying I'll give him a chance, I'd just sooner we appointed someone with championship experience this time around, to give us the best shot at staying up.

If he is our man then let's hope he doesn't take any **** off these pansies, particularly Woodrow. Strip him of the captaincy and give it to Helik. A lot of them need reading the riot act. Can't believe they've had a week off tbh given their lack of fitness.
Hope this Swedish bloke doesn't end up being a turnip. We might end up dropping him like a hot potato if he's no good. Mind you if he cuts it he might just appease the fans.
I'll give him every chance if he's appointed to the role. However, it would be the most underwhelming imaginable appointment, completely in fitting with what I expected to happen, rather than what I hoped might be a change of tack under the new CEO. My bigger concern is how quickly the players will respond to him, as an unknown name, in a situation where we don't have the luxury of time.
Good to know that you'll give him every chance if he's appointed Curt. With any new manager the hope is that the players are professional enough to respond to him regardless of reputation. Indeed in many cases a new manager with a big reputation doesn't necessarily gain a response from players if the chemistry isn't there. You know that recruitment isn't an exact science. Rather than seeing this appointment (if it goes thru) as underwhelming I'm more inclined let the proof of tbe pudding be in the eating. Opinions eh?
Indeed. It's a coin flip and, in a time-critical situation, as we find ourselves in for the remainder of this season, I'd have preferred us to prioritise Championship survival. Another unknown overseas appointment was never likely to have that priority as the main rationale, but it's no surprise to see that it's the route we're going down.
Get this one wrong and it’s the current ownership’s relationship with its fanbase well and truly shot unless he manages to keep us up. Although Radio Sheffield tweet above makes it sound like it’s not as close as made out to be.
I'll reserve judgment if it's him however I've seen a few clips of him and he looks like Brittain and Kitching will piss up his back !.
