We aren't having a minute's silence again are we? It's been done to death now and doesn't actually serve any purpose. People know how we feel so why do we need to keep doing it? All it does is adds an unnecessary pause to the beginning of the game. I go to watch the football not a political gesture. In fact thinking about it I might boo it or even refuse to go because of it

It was a lot of people's reaction to players taking the knee before games

If you can’t observe 1 minutes silence for Remembrance, then maybe you shouldn’t go. Show some f****** respect. This year, we celebrate 100 years of Remembrance, the poignancy of it & to remember those past and present, who have fought, defended and ultimately sacrificed their lives fighting for our great country.

I’d hardly call it a political gesture. Some folk

Sick of these political gestures at football matches.

It is not a political gesture in any way shape or form , I suggest the best thing you can do if you think that respecting our war dead does not serve any purpose then stay away because if you boo you are likely to get lynched & frankly I find your comment both distasteful & sickening.

That Northern Irish player refused to wear a poppy on his shirt as he wanted to make it political he got no end of stick

I read it & responded to it as I saw, if there was some kind of cryptic message in it I was not aware & am still not
