I’d say they’re probably just doing their jobs. The powers that be will decide when an announcement is due once official and lined up/created. The guys working on the media side of things just have to keep working until then.

Hopefully they are just getting stuff up onto the website to clear the decks for a busy day with the Schopp announcement. Not sure why it's not been announced already though?
If you work in the media team, and are always 'on standby' to post - even if you are sat having your Sunday roast - whether it is a player comment, half time draw news or a gaffer being sacked, you are only going to do so once you are instructed. Do folk honestly think someone like Whitey or others would finish his puds and gravy then put out a statement about the gaffer off his own back? It's a club comms issue / timing / decision; nothing to do with the media team.
