…The fourth and fifth goals scored on Sunday went to the opposition and not us, would that have led to Schopp’s departure?

Might the ‘comeback’ attempt have kept him in the job?

If so, scoring a couple might have been the worst thing that could have happened!

I doubt they’d have removed him from post regardless, but it does make you wonder.

Not sure. If he was close to being sacked, his P45 would've been waiting for him by the time the third goal went in.

Do you need all your badges to take over in a caretaker capacity? Wouldn't be surprised if he's the only individual currently at the club that's qualified to do the job.

Either Conway showed up yesterday to front up to the situation (in which case fair play) or he was here to wield the axe if necessary. If it's the latter then surely at 0-3 Schopp would have been gone. However, if two late goals were enough to make him think we may just be OK after all then god help us

It's obvious to me that Schopp has stumbled across a front three and central midfield. That last twenty should be the making of him. In the same way that Scowen getting injured forced Johnson to go 4-4-2 in 2015.

You'd probably be right. I hope you're wrong. It's obvious they aren't sacking Schopp anytime soon so I might as well get behind them. The second half yesterday was entertaining at the very least.

It gave me a bit more hope.

No. The loss and going 3 0 down so easily would have been enough if they wanted to get rid.

I'm behind them I don't care who's manager (Joey Barton and the like excepted) but I never ever want Barnsley to do anything other than to win a game.

I believe what @Bossman posted about the Conway meeting with a fan on the concourse.

He's probably got to pick the players with least time on their contracts. To maximise any return.
