The full interview was on football heaven twitter feed (link to sounds). Wasn't a dreadful interview, there's not much more he can say really.

He did finish 8 minutes of questions though with... "results will decide" (re his future)

I honestly don’t think we would have gone on to win the game even if Odour takes that early chance it was only a few weeks ago when we took the lead at home to forest and we never looked like holding on or adding to the lead.

Results and performances should have already decided no goals from open play since Birmingham speaks volumes.

What worries me about Sunday is that if we were to somehow win it we will be stuck with him even longer.

Surely, results should already have decided his fate. It's looking as though a sacking is not imminent. How much proof do the owners need that Schopp is just not up to the job? 74 points in 39 games for Ismael. 8 in 13 games for Schopp, and, even more depressingly, 4 points in the last 11 games.

The Brittain chance looks even worse on the reverse angle replay (on the extended highlights), just a timid pass back. A confident Woodrow would've gone for goal when through in the first minute, even at a tight angle. But nobody has any confidence whatsoever.

    Just a broken team.

Win, lose or draw, Schopp will be parking his car round the back of the North Stand on Monday morning regardless.

Lee Johnson got through an even worse run of consecutive defeats.... just about everywhere he's been actually!

I touched on it earlier, this mob don't like sacking coaches if it costs them money.

I omitted Heckingbottom. Many were clamouring for him to be given the boot (I might have even been among them, I really can't recall).

Looks like money is the only thing stopping the board from sacking him the fact he has a 3 year deal. Everyone can see the footballs awful and he's out of his depth. Well everyone expect you...

I am not at all confident that a 5-0 defeat on Sunday would get Schopp the sack. I suspect the owners simply don't want to pay him compensation.

Shame he didn't stress the importance of changing the head coach

I don't see what massively changes by sacking him. We still didn't get base fitness in the summer. We're still a long way off getting Mads and Morris. We've loads of other injuries so a settled side is unlikely. And we're back to the place where we're having to play lots of kids with zero league experience who are always going to make mistakes.

Then theres the off the field nightmare the summer brought and that so many people have come in afresh and all those will take time. And if the Crynes relationship has broken down to such a point that the data isnt being used in recruiting, then it's an even bigger mess.

I'm sure Schopp is likely to get sacked fairly soon. But it doesn't change the more fundamental issues we have.

I’ve given up listening/reading his pre and post match comments now. It’s always a lot of words without saying very much.

    Absolutely this.

We've got longer and more deep lying issues at the club than whoever is in the dugout. Our injury list and toxic ownership would still remain.

If there is somebody that can take over, that has a clear plan on how they want to play, make players' roles clear and get them onside, it will make a massive difference.

Yes, there will still be problems, but at the moment, we look unbelievably far out of our depth, and I think we're better than that. Might only be good enough to be in a relegation fight, but Schopp is leading us to a relegation procession.
