RIP Brian condolences to all his family hopefully it was a peaceful transition to spirit ..from this physical earth plane of ours

Not many people know this but shortly after arriving at oakwell Brian was involved in an incident whereby he saved a young child of early months from a burning building ....on arriving on the scene he discovered a large crowd gathered ..urging a young mother hanging from a 3rd story window of the said burning building to throw them her child .alas she was too afraid to do so....step forward Brian who took charge of the situation and reassured her all was well that he was a great keeper with safe hands and that he was the new goal keeper at oakwell and had a reputation for catching the ball safely by plucking it out of the air in tight circumstances....he gained the young woman's trust and as she threw the child to safety... he rose with great splendour and plucked the child from the air landing safely on the ground with his feet squarely apart and the child held tightly to his chest shouting I told you I was a great keeper and had a safe pair of hands didn't i..much to the appreciation and applause from the crowd gathered around him.
This applause and appreciation soon stopped as he barged out past the crowd bounced the child 3 times and caught it again before kicking it 50 yards down the street ..
    R.i.P. Brian

What a great story. His playing days were before I started watching, but I echo what everyone else has said. RIP Brian.
